Quadropolis - will you be able to meet the challenge and become the most prestigious Mayor in history?

In Quadropolis, players take on the role of urban planners, competing to build the most thriving metropolis by strategically placing shops, parks, public services, and other structures. Over four rounds, players lay out tiles on a 5x5 grid, with each player having four architects to place along the grid's rows and columns. The number on the architect determines how far into the grid they'll reach, and the tile they claim is then added to their 4x4 city board. As players place their architects, they're not only building their own city, but also blocking their opponents' options for future turns.

As the game unfolds, players must carefully consider their next move, as each placement not only adds to their city's potential, but also limits their opponents' choices. Once all players have placed their four architects, the round comes to a close, and new tiles are laid out for the next round. Throughout the game, players can manipulate their resources - inhabitants and energy - to maximize their scoring potential. At the end of four rounds, players score their cities based on six different building types, from residential buildings that score based on height to harbors that reward long, connected rows or columns.

The game's scoring system rewards clever planning and strategic tile placement, with different building types interacting in complex ways to produce a high score. Residential buildings, for example, score more points when they're tall, while parks score more when they're situated next to residential areas. As players tally their final scores, the player with the most victory points - earned through a combination of building types, strategic placement, and clever resource management - is declared the winner, having built the most thriving and efficient metropolis.
